On March 10, 2023, ZOLL Medical Corporation (“ZOLL”) filed a notice of data breach with the Maine Attorney General following a cybersecurity incident that resulted in the confidential information of more than 1,000,000 consumers being leaked. Based on the company’s official filing, the incident resulted in an unauthorized party gaining access to consumers’ names, addresses, dates of birth, and Social Security numbers.
