Sobeys, a major Canadian grocery retailer’ has been hacked this week with ransomware attack. Hackers are demanding ransom. Hackers compromised 1,500 Sobeys stores in Canada and made all their systems inoperable, crippling the country’s second-largest supermarket chain. All their computers were down with a message on screen demanding payment or else sensitive files will be uploaded to the dark web.

Sobeys smart carts and self-checkouts were hacked too.
