Highmark is notifying members about a recent data breach related to a phishing campaign affecting roughly 300,000 members. An employee was sent a phishing email link that led to the account being compromised, from there a threat actor obtained access to files that may have contained protect health information of Highmark members.

Someone hacked into the Edmonds School District network, gaining access to the private information of faculty, students, and parents. According to the district, the hacker had access for about two weeks. The information included social security numbers, driver’s license numbers, financial account info, medical info, student records, student identification numbers, dates of birth and more.
