Israel-based SOSA which is a global open innovation platform talks with around three Indian states to set up technology innovation hubs that will give Indian Start ups landing pads in Tel Aviv and New York City. SOSA is in communication with Goa, Assam, and Maharashtra for innovation hubs which will give the start ups in these states an access to SOSA’s global innovation network.
Uzi Scheffer, the founder said, “As a part of these alliances with various governments, SOSA builds an ecosystem of innovators, investors, academics and governments. In the next layer, we connect corporates with relevant technologies and innovations from the global innovation networks of SOSA.”
New York City recently selected SOSA to operate and build global cybersecurity centre and at least a 100 start ups can access innovation networks in New York and Tel Aviv every year via SOSA. Lakshmi Potluri who is the chief executive of DCF Ventures said, “SOSA has been formed by 25 large and prominent Israeli investors and entrepreneurs. We help governments create the ecosystems through policy framework, innovation grants, incubation hubs and launching pads in alliance with various global innovation networks that enable creating the unicorns.”
