How to get your kids to eat their veggies

Do your kids turn up their noses at veggies? You’re not alone. It can be a challenge to get kids to eat their vegetables, but it’s important to try. Vegetables are an essential part of a healthy diet, and they’re packed with nutrients that kids need for growth and development.

Here are some tips to help you get your kids to eat their veggies:

1. Be a good role model. Kids are more likely to eat vegetables if they see their parents or other adults eating them. So, make sure to eat your veggies, too!

2. Make vegetables fun. Serve them with dip, cut them into shapes with cookie cutters, or dress them up with some grated cheese.

3. Let kids help in the kitchen. When kids help to prepare meals, they’re more likely to eat them. So, involve them in chopping, stirring, or whatever else you’re doing to get the meal ready.

4. Offer a variety of vegetables. Don’t just offer one type of vegetable at every meal. Rotate different types of veggies so that kids can try new ones.

5. Be patient. It can take time for kids to get used to new foods. Keep offering vegetables, even if they don’t eat them at first. With time and patience, they’ll hopefully come around.
