Lucideus, which is a New Delhi based cybersecurity start up raised $5 million in a funding round headed by John Chambers, the former chairman of US-based technology conglomerate Cisco. Saket Modi told ET that the firm would utilize the fresh funding to enlarge its presence in the US as well as its current market such as India.
Lucideus presently has a presence across New Delhi, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Boston, California, and Palo Alto. It has raised a whooping $6.1 million from six rounds of recent investments. Lucideus gives cybersecurity a platform that governments and enterprises across the globe.
The company claims to have the Tatasky, Goibibo, Quikr, Freshworks, ICICI Bank, National Payments Corporation of India (NPI) among its customers. The founders said Lucideus revenues have been growing in large digits for consecutive years and it has also recorded positive cash flow.
