Volodymyr Zelensky is a Ukrainian actor, comedian, screenwriter, and politician who has served as the President of Ukraine since 2019. He is best known for his work as a comedian and actor on the Ukrainian television series “Servant of the People,” in which he played the role of a schoolteacher who becomes the President of Ukraine. Zelensky ran for the presidency in the 2019 Ukrainian presidential election as the candidate of the Servant of the People party, which he had founded. He won the election in the first round with 73% of the vote, becoming the sixth President of Ukraine.

Since taking office, Zelensky has focused on issues such as reducing corruption, improving the economy, and promoting dialogue with Russia. He has also worked to improve relations with other countries, including the United States and the European Union. Zelensky is known for his unconventional approach to politics and his use of humor in his public appearances.
