DEA Reverses Course and Extends Telehealth Prescriptions of Controlled Substances

Reversing previously proposed rules, the DEA recently issued new guidance allowing the continued use of telehealth when prescribing controlled substances following the end of the Covid-19 public health emergency (“PHE”).
