Babel Street, Inc. develops solutions to collect, analyze, monitor, and report on information from online and private electronic sources. It offers Babel X, an intelligent, cloud-based engine for searching various data sources and generating actionable output.
Babel Street announced that it has renewed its partnership with DarkOwl, the Denver based information security company that specializes in darknet information technology. The partnership is valid till the end of 2020.
DarkOwl, LLC provides darknet content, tools and services to empower clients to improve their cybersecurity defenses. The company offers a DarkOwl Vision platform that allows users to access the database of DARKINT to monitor for the presence of their data on the darknet and shorten the timeframe to its detection. It also provides security services.
DarkOwl’s darknet database encloses a vast amount of content from the deep and dark web and is updated in near real-time. Ninety-six percent of all web-based content lives within the deep web and darknet. DarkOwl offers crucial insight into a space which is difficult to track down. In May 2018, Babel Street initially added DarkOwl as a data source.
Jeff Chapman, CEO of Babel Street said “From the start, to truly offer our clients the depth of knowledge available online, we knew we had to integrate dark web data into our offerings. DarkOwl has been a trusted data partner of ours and we look forward to continuing our relationship for many years to come.”The customers have benefits of using the unique cross-lingual search, indexing and data visualization capabilities to access, offered Babel Street and understand DarkOwl data to support a range of missions such as breach detection, Cyber attribution and Illicit marketplace identification.
The continued DarkOwl partnership not only lets the customers know about the difficulty in the information environment but also its importance.
Mark Turnage, CEO of DarkOwl said “Babel Street is a pioneer in text analytics and cross-lingual search, and by renewing our partnership, DarkOwl’s darknet data will continue to increase situational cyber awareness for public and private sectors globally.”
