Australian Teenager Not Convicted for Hacking into Tech Giant Apple’s Systems

An Australian teenager escaped conviction for hacking into the Apple system. Only 16 years old when he first committed the crime, he owned up to his crime and pleaded guilty. He has since been convicted but would not be serving a sentence. Instead he would be placed under probation order for eight months.

The Melbourne boy’s mischievous activities led to an FBI investigation. Apparently, the boy had managed to gain access into the Apple secure systems several times over between 2015 and 2017. The boy, now 19, is all set to head to university to study criminology and cyber safety.
