Australia Largest Insurance Provider Got Hacked


Cybercriminal had hacked the personal data of all its 4 million customers and demanded a ransom of more than $1 million. The hackers threatened to expose the personal data, diagnoses, medical history and treatments of high-profile customers. Australian government introduced legislation that would increase penalties for companies that fail to protect clients’ private information.
