IARC to Evaluate Key Plasticizers for Carcinogenic Risk in June 2026

The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) has recently announced that it will be evaluating three plasticizers between June 9-16 of 2026. The additives to be evaluated include butyl benzyl phthalate (BBP), dibutyl phthalate (DBP), and diisononyl phthalate (DINP). For DINP and DBP, it is the first time being evaluated by IARC. Manufacturers, distributors, and consumers of these plasticizers should take note and prepare for IARC’s review….
